I pulled out one of my macro lenses the other day and took a few shots of the succulents I purchased at the Farmer's Market a couple of weeks ago. They seem to be doing well; I'm amazed that I've not killed them yet, since I haven't ever had much luck with houseplants. I love the touch of green that they bring to the house -- they add such a beautiful sense of growth and vibrancy to our living room.
On the other hand, I think that my camera really needs a good cleaning. I'm just not getting the sharp images I used to get. Honestly, I think it's time for an upgrade -- I just can't decide what I want. I know I'm going to be making an investment that will last for the next 10 years at least, but I don't know if I want to go with a fullsize DSLR or one of the new micro-4/3s models. Both have their pros and cons.
