March 12:
It's at that point of the year when the weather can't decide if it wants to be warm or cool. I always end up with a cold when this happens.
March 13:
Cami and her teacher, Mrs. Lane (and daughter). Cami won the 2nd grade Character Counts award and we are NCREDIBLY proud of her. Mrs. Lane was my sister's best friend in school, so it's really been so fun to see Leigh Ann working with Cami. Plus, they share a birthday. I mean, really? How many more coincidences could we come up with?
March 14:
This is Cami's favorite spot from which to help Chris make supper each night. When I was in high school, we had a similar corner of our kitchen counter, which was where I would sit and talk to Mom as she cooked supper each night. It's funny how those things echo through the years.
March 15:
After a season of being an alternate to the Future Problem Solving team at district and regional competition, Cass got a chance to compete in the Alternates competition at State level and took 1st place. Proof that continuing to work hard even if you don't get to play really does pay off.
March 16:
A boyfriend has entered the picture, and this phone is getting quite a workout. She'll have massively strong thumbs by the time this is all through. (He's a good kid, though, and I approve; Dad is a different story. Then again, he's a Dad. 'Nuff said, right?) ;)
March 17:
Just one of her many collections. She's been fascinated with horses since birth, I think. Cass was the same way, and to tell the truth, so was I. Devouring anything written about horses, particularly Marguerite Henry, was how I fed my addiction.
March 18:
So proud of our Racers -- it was incredible to watch the game at work today and hear the cheers echoing down the halls. Don't think I can take another of those close games, though! I had to actually get up and pace the hallway during a couple of the final commercial breaks; I just couldn't stand the pressure.
OMG! Is she old enough to have a boyfriend already :( The girls are getting big!

Shes been 13 since November, so yep...Im afraid she is! Of course, Cami has had boyfriends (and I do mean that in a PLURAL sense) since preschool. Methinks she might be practicing for Big Love. LOL
