The news has gone out by now, and what sad news it is. Patrick and deann have announced that {we are} storytellers is closing, effective August 16. I've been lucky enough to work with deann and the other storytellers for over a year, and to say that this site truly felt like home to me is an understatement. After several years of industry involvement (working for paper manufacturers, freelancing for magazines), it was time to get back to the real focus of this hobby for me -- telling my stories. deann and Patrick gave me a place in which to do just that, and I'll be forever grateful to them for their friendship and support.

And because several people have asked, I'm not sure what the next step is for me yet.
