Pay It Forward. I'll be honest -- I've never seen the movie, but I love the concept. Since I've been a stalker reader of Erica's blog for some time, I was super excited to be the first to comment when she brought up this cool idea she'd seen on Jenn Olson's blog. Apparently, this little bit of homemade fun is making the rounds right now, and I'm just thrilled to be playing along. Want in on the fun? It's easy.
All you have to do is be one of the first three people to leave a comment on my blog today. As one of those lucky three, you'll get something handmade and heartfelt from me three times this year. The timing is totally random -- you won't know what's coming, nor will you know when. You'll just wake up one day, and that day, unbeknownst to you, will be a day of happy mail. What more could you want?
There's a catch, though. You have to agree to keep it going. If you are one of the first three, you have to agree to post this on your blog and mail random homemade goodies to the first three peeps to comment on your blog. So the chain keeps going (and now Fleetwood Mac is playing in my head...)
I'm excited about this and can't wait to see who my new mail buddies will be!
