Wouldn't that be a great name for a band? There are a couple of brand new baby llamas that live right down the road from Cami's school -- I need to get some pictures of them soon. They are so cute! We were talking about them this evening while I ate a late supper (the result of a long research assignment for class, soccer practice, gymnastics practice, and helping with homework), and when Chris and I heard Cami say, "Bucktooth llama!" we both responded with loud laughs and agreement that it would be a perfect band name.
Our weekend was one of those "busy without intending to be busy" kind of weekends. Since there is still so much I need to do before bed, I'll just leave you with a quick recap in pictures:
Helping Dad put together his weight bench (and then doing really funny imitations of the noises he makes while lifting weights). Had to get a set of weights for littlest too.
Snow. Really big thick fat snowflakes (can you tell from the photo?) Covered the ground nicely but didn't stick around for long at all.
Finished the scarf -- it's a bit bigger/looser than I intended, and the rows are definitely not even, but Cami loves it so that's all that matters. Just cast on for Chris's gray rib-knit scarf this evening at gymnastics.
New haircut. You can't see all the cute layers in the back in this picture, but she's very happy with it. Chris said that all the flips and waves and (used-to-be) curls in Cam's hair were just giving the hairdresser fits -- she just couldn't get it to look the way she wanted, apparently. We're more than happy with it though.
Lots of homework. Like I mentioned earlier, a big research project due. Not an enjoyable way to spend the weekend -- I didn't care much for this assignment at all. Not at all.
